Bastion, the wholly owned subsidiary of ISG, carried out extensive market research in Hull and was subsequently appointed by Hull City Football Club (HCAFC) in October 2001 to design, sell and manage a new premium seating product at the new 25,400 capacity KC Stadium.
The Premier Club was launched in December 2001 with the sale of 1,000 Premium Seats. Sales targets were surpassed generating £5m for the stadium management company before the stadium opened in December 2002.
The relationship between Bastion, Hull City AFC & KC Stadium Management was very strong and Bastion have also undertaken other Commercial Sales projects for the club including introducing a new affinity partnership arrangement to the club harnessing brand loyalty.
